First things first: the latest information on Kalymnos is on its social media. Opening dates, times, parties, DJs and tickets change every season, and the club posts them first on its Instagram @discoteca_kalymnos and its Facebook page. This website tells its story and helps you plan your night out, but to find out whether there's a party tonight, check its social media.
Kalymnos, since 1972
Kalymnos nightclub opened in 1972 in Alcossebre (Alcalà de Xivert, Castellón). Its own motto sums it up: "Since 1972 - KALYMNOS CLUB". It was one of the first nightclubs on the east coast of Spain (Levante), back when Alcossebre was starting to fill up with summer visitors from Aragon, Madrid, Catalonia and the Basque Country.
More than fifty years later it still opens on the Las Fuentes seafront promenade, right on the beach and next to the marina entrance. Parents and children from many families who holiday in the town have danced on the same floor, each in their own day: few clubs on the coast can say that. Kalymnos bills itself as the best nightclub in Alcossebre, and on Facebook 88% of those who have rated it recommend it (85 reviews, October 2026).
What a night at Kalymnos is like
A DJ booth, coloured lights, a dance floor and groups of friends out to have a good time: Kalymnos is Alcossebre's night out. The photos are the club's own; you'll find pictures of every party on its Instagram.
Where Kalymnos is
Kalymnos is on Paseo Marítimo Las Fuentes, in the north of Alcossebre. Follow the Las Fuentes beach promenade towards the marina and you'll find it next to the marina entrance.
- From the Las Fuentes apartments: you can walk there.
- From the town centre: follow the coast north, or take a taxi.
- Getting back: on foot or by taxi; best not to rely on the car.
When it's open
Kalymnos is a seasonal club: it opens on New Year's Eve, at Easter and in summer, and within each season it doesn't necessarily open every night. Exact dates, opening times, minimum entry age and tickets are announced on its Instagram and Facebook: always check them before you go. There's more detail in when Kalymnos is open.
Before and after Kalymnos
Kalymnos is where the night ends. Before that, you can have dinner by the sea, stroll along the promenade or catch one of the town's fiestas: it's all in Alcossebre nightlife and fiestas. And if you're coming with your group and want somewhere cheap to stay nearby, see the full plan with friends: dinner, a night out and a place to sleep.
